Unity day is filled with music, entertainment, food and drink from an array of multicultural backgrounds!
If you're wanting to check out of a bit of history; Hyde Park Picture House has been around for over a century making it one of the oldest cinemas in the UK! The building boasts beautiful interior and architecture! It doesn't just show the usual blockbuster either; it hosts performances, independent films and the classics. A lovely evening can be spent with your feet up watching your favourite flick!
How to get around...
Trains run regularly to the city centre from the nearby, Burley Park train station and there are good regular bus links to and from the centre as well. If you like to get out in the fresh air it's less than a 15 minute walk away from the universities and town!
Hyde Park is not short of restaurants, cafes and takeaways! Boss burgers, located off Brudenell Grove has gained a large following. To curb your burger cravings, this one's worth the visit. No stingy portions are served here, big meaty burgers stacked with goodness available till late!
Hangover food? Look no further. Just by Hyde Park corner you'll find the long running quirky café, LS6 which has the 'Mammoth breakfast' to help with those hangover hunger pangs!
