Leeds Vegan Winterfest 2017
24th November 2017
We're approaching the end of November already, can you believe it?! The days are becoming colder, the nights are creeping in earlier and earlier, and we're digging out our hats, scarves, and gloves to get all wrapped up for winter!
It's hard to get away from getting in to the Christmas spirit at this time of the year; there are Christmas displays, gifts, and lights all around us! So, why resist it any longer, why not just give in to the full festive spirit, and what better way to kick off the festivities than Leeds very own Vegan Winterfest?!
On the 26th November, between 10:30am and 5pm, you can venture down to Leeds Town Hall for the 2017 Leeds Vegan Winterfest Christmas Markets which will consist of 150 stalls offering a wide range of festive, vegan products; including cakes from Clemie's Vegan Cakes, and The Vegan Cakery, vegan beauty products, candles, wines, and much, much more!
Throughout the day there will also be an array of activities, talks, live cooking demonstrations, live music, bars, and more... So, there will be something for everyone to enjoy, as well as a chance to find out about vegan groups you can become part of, and local animal charities you can get involved in.
Admission to the Christmas Markets are just £3 per person, and is free to anyone under the age of 16; this will include entry to all talks, demonstrations, a map of the stalls, and sa long as you like to peruse around the festive markets, out of the cold of Leeds city centre. The Vegan Winterfest is completely volunteer run, and therefore, all proceeds from admissions will go straight to animal welfare charities.
