DEU Estates are inviting Software Developer companies with property and lettings experience essential to quote for further development our ‘Swift Let’ tenancy application crm system. This will replace the existing platform which is approximately 10 years old and no longer provides the functionality required.

Overview

The project is to design, develop, manage, and and deliver an online portal which will looks and operate very similar to the current product but with more advanced functionality that is required in the marketplace.  It is expected the front-end customer interface and the internal back-end admin area will require the adoption of the latest web based technologies allowing for further growth and white label use, with the successful supplier clarifying these and any restrictions in their use.

Requirements Specification

  • The system will support all operations for agents to fulfil the tenancy application process with minimal of fuss as when in busy periods time is of the essence.
  • The system will allow customers to have levels of access with a primary account and sub accounts to allow businesses to reflect their organisational structure (multiple sites, departments etc.)
  • The system will allow for bespoke customisation to integrate with multiple property software providers.
  • The system will integrate with preferred online payment portal
  • The system will connect with Canopy credit referencing through API technology
  • The system will connect with TDS through API technology
  • The system will connect with Right to Rent through API technology
  • The system will connect with WhattsApp through API technology
  • The system will allow secure and encrypted connection from customers website importing personal data.
  • The system will be always accessible online.

Outputs/deliverables 

The supplier is to deliver the following outputs:

  • On site scoping workshop to interrogate the requirements – 30 May 2024
  • Scope of requirements and recommendations – Mid June 2024
  • Project plan with timings and guidance – End June 2024
  • Fortnightly updates on progress and any issues throughout
  • Prototype software – Early August 2024
  • User-testing – End August 2024
  • Migration of existing customer base – Mid September 2024
  • Official launch to new customers – October 2024
